Africa's largest mosque is one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslims, but only on guided tours at fixed hours. Miss the last morning tour and you wait until 15:00.

Visits are by guided tour only; each lasts about 45 minutes. Arrive 20 minutes early for tickets.
The rule
Non-Muslims can only enter on a guided tour. Tours start on the hour in the morning and mid-afternoon; there is no tour around the noon prayer, and on Fridays the 11:00 and 12:00 tours are dropped.
Tickets (140 dirhams for foreign adults) are sold on site; arrive 20 minutes before the tour. Tours cover the prayer hall, the minaret hall and the ablutions hall. Shoulders and knees covered; shoes are carried in a bag.
